OUR MENTORING SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS
Successful Mothers events, workshops and seminars endeavour to bring you the latest in transformational knowledge from experts across the globe. Our international speakers are passionate, knowledgeable and more than happy to share with you their expertise as we flourish in the company of knowledge.
We believe that we cannot be fully evolved human beings until we care about human rights for everyone. Our vision of humanity, care, compassion, and justice is well-linked with technology, design, entertainment, and creativity.
HELPING MOTHERS TACKLE ISOLATION
Isolation creates tremendous stress for mothers whilst having to deal with all areas of family life, including daily family management, as well as financial management. Managing to get children to and from school etc., and dealing with issues where the father in a family may not be entirely supportive, potentially creating financial pressures.
Successful Mothers creates a meeting place for groups of women who may feel isolated. The goal is to build up a positive energy of belonging in a community.
We aim to tackle isolation through holding weekly and monthly sessions such as a Breakfast Club and Afternoon Tea. The group will support community members in feeling less isolated through the sharing of ideas and experiences with other mothers/parents. Supporting families who have members tackling mental health issues is crucial and we aim to address this by organising seminars where people can come and have their fears and questions met with guidance.
SUCCESSFUL MOTHERS BOOK
I am very proud to say that the collaboration of many members of this platform with author Nexhmije Hasani made a great contribution to the creation of a “Successful Mothers” book. This book is filled with inspiring stories detailing challenges faced on the long journey to success. These inspiring stories detail how important it was for these women to not only achieve success through self-achievement but also being present in their children’s lives no matter what. As the author has explained, this book focuses on women in a range of roles such as teachers, doctors, business leaders, lawyers, judges and generally exemplary successful intellectuals.
The stories of these mothers in all different walks of life highlight their strength as they not only integrated into a culture other than where they were raised in, but worked hard towards their passions.
This book reaffirms the importance of telling your story. It can help you find your voice. Putting your journey into words is a great path towards self-love, solidifying the feeling that you are worthy of being cared for as well as being a very meaningful experience knowing others can be helped by sharing personal experience.
Telling a story is also providing a service to others. Your story can be a form of tremendous encouragement, especially if it resonates personally with others who are experiencing similar issues, creating a sense of unity between the readers and the storyteller. It can also be highly practical sharing strategies and coping mechanisms that have proven useful to yourself which could prove useful with others.
